Waist (1)
Put tape measure on wanted bottom edge of waistband and all around your waist.
Put the tape measure closely around the waistband. Compare your measures to perimeter from button to buttonhole.
Hips (width) (2)
Put the tape measure around the strongest part of your buttocks (horizontally).
Donīt draw together the trousers!
Hips (depth) (3)
Measure the distance from waistband to hipband (from the centre of both).
Measure the distance from bottom edge of waistband up to the hips.
Belly (4)
Take aseat and measure from bottom edge of waistband to seat, apeak, sideward.
Just as with trousers.
Thighs (5)
Measure both and strongest part of each.
Keep a distance of 10 cm from inside seam to crotch. From this point put tape measure closely around thighs. Don't draw together the trouser leg.
Knee/Calf (6)
Measure strongest part of knee and calf.
Don't draw together the trouser leg.
Seam/Heme (7)
Put tape measure around heel and step (important to get your foot through trouser leg).
Take the measure of your sample trousers.
Inside length (8)
Measure on inside leg from crotch to the ground.
Measure from crotch on inside seam to trouser leg seam.
Outside length (9)
Measure laterally from centre of waistband to the ground.
Measure from bottom edge of waistband to trouser leg seam.
